Important - When your supporters send a donor-preferenced gift to YWAM for your ministry support they should NOT write your name on the check - anywhere. They should enclose a separate note requesting that YWAM make a donation to you. Also checks should not be make out as "YWAM - John Doe" they should be made out to YWAM and mailed to:

If your donors would like to use a "Bill Payment" service to send checks for you they CAN and MUST put your full name on the check as well as their full name and address. The reason they can put your name on this type of check is because the check is not being returned to an individual but to a bill payment service. Please be sure they do not make the check payable to the missionary, they need to be made out to "YWAM".
Along with the tax-deductible receipt, that your donor will receive, will be a new remittance form, with their name and address as well as your name printed on it, and a self-addressed return envelope that they will be able to mail their next donation back to us in.
